April was an exciting month for the Acceleum team.

We went from being in a waiting position with Spark Technology as a merger candidate, through a wave of pitches and prospects for a similar merger, with a lot of discussions on viable markets and timing, and eventually moved into a closing position with several shells – all in Sweden on various exchanges.
We have reconsidered becoming listed in Denmark, which was our original plan.

We are a Danish company, with a mostly Danish crew and board, and being listed here would make the most sense. However, the lack of new listings, combined with the loss of around 30 companies from the exchanges we considered, and near-zero new activity, has led us to explore other markets. Among them, Sweden seems to be the nearest and strongest alternative.

We also made further progress in the renegotiations regarding the payment backbones we align with, left open after the demise of our Spark relationship.
With two months to go until summer sets in, we are rushing towards our goals of having a listed entity ready for completion before then, securing a new payment agreement for our platform or implementing our own solution, alongside news on the rollout in Uganda.
We look forward to bringing you more updates on our ongoing business!
